Everything you need to plan two to three weeks of dental treatment in Tbilisi: flights and visas, where to stay, what each day looks like, what to eat and pack, and how to enjoy the healing days in one of Europe’s oldest cities. Whether you are coming for both arches in one plan or a single crown, the shape of the trip is the same: how implants abroad work covers the clinical side, and Georgia vs Turkey explains why we book the extra healing time.

You book flights; we recommend partner hotels near the clinic.

Getting there

Direct flights from London, and one-stop routes from other UK airports via Istanbul or Europe.
Direct flights from Tel Aviv, often several a week, so a shorter trip is easy to arrange.
Usually one connection via London, Istanbul or another European hub.

Flight times are approximate and routes change by season. Entry rules: GOV.UK foreign travel advice. Always check current advice for your passport before booking.
Day by day
A typical All-on-4 or full mouth stay. Single implants and veneers take about ten days. Your coordinator builds the exact plan around your treatment.
Your CT scan and final plan, surgery on day 3, then a few quiet days with soft food and a check-up.
Short check-ups between easy days out. Most patients feel well enough to explore within a week.
Your bridge is adjusted, your bite checked and your aftercare plan agreed before you fly home.

Where you’ll stay
We recommend a small number of partner hotels close to the clinic, chosen for quiet rooms and easy recovery. You book directly, so you only pay for the room you choose.
Budget: about £1,450 for return flights from the UK and a three-week stay, depending on season and hotel.
Healing days
Gentle days out that fit around check-ups. Your coordinator suggests what suits each stage of healing.

Carved wooden balconies, courtyards and flat riverside walks around Abanotubani and Sololaki.

Slow afternoons with tea and something soft to eat, a few minutes from most partner hotels.

A short ride up to the fortress for the best view of the city, with no steep climb.

Kakheti’s vineyards and hilltop Sighnaghi are under two hours away. Skip the wine until your surgeon says so.

Shaded paths and a waterfall below the fortress, calm and quiet on weekdays.

Once your bridge is fitted and checked, a Georgian supra is the traditional way to mark the day.
Eating after surgery
For the first days after implant surgery, eat soft, lukewarm food and avoid chewing on the surgical area. Georgian cooking makes that easy: bean stews, soups, yoghurt and slow-cooked dishes are everyday food in Tbilisi. Your surgeon gives you a written diet plan for each stage.

Gentle days out work best: walks in the Old Town, café terraces, the cable car to Narikala fortress and the Botanical Garden. In the second week many patients take a day trip to the Kakheti wine region, skipping the wine until their surgeon says it is fine.
