What are All-on-4 dental implants?
All-on-4 replaces every tooth in one jaw with a fixed bridge carried by just four implants. Two go in upright at the front, where bone is densest; two at the back are angled at up to 45 degrees to reach solid bone and avoid the sinuses and nerve. That angling is why many people told they need bone grafts can have All-on-4 without them.
- Fixed, not removable. The bridge is screwed to the implants. It doesn’t come out, move or need adhesive.
- Teeth within days. A fixed bridge is attached soon after surgery, so you are never left without teeth.
- Protects the jaw. Implants load the bone, slowing the shrinkage that makes dentures loosen.

Very rarely. The NHS usually funds implants only in exceptional clinical cases, such as after mouth cancer or major facial injury, so most UK patients pay privately or travel abroad for All-on-4.
Do I need a second trip?
